Robinhood Chain Tops Ethereum at $2.66M in Revenue as 5.52M Transactions Surge

A two-month-old blockchain just had a day that put it ahead of one of crypto’s biggest networks. Robinhood Chain revenue climbed to about $2.66 million over 24 hours, while Ethereum generated roughly half that amount in application revenue. The jump came alongside a sharp rise in trading and transaction activity. But the more revealing part of the Robinhood and Ethereum comparison is what traders were actually doing on the network.

The August 30 numbers marked a new high for Robinhood Chain. The network processed approximately 5.52 million transactions, while decentralized exchange activity reached around $875 million, according to on-chain data.

Its applications generated roughly $2.66 million in 24-hour revenue, compared with about $1.27 million in Ethereum daily revenue. This put Robinhood Chain second among the networks tracked for app revenue, behind Solana. It is worth noting that the $2.66 million figure refers to revenue generated by applications on the chain, rather than revenue collected directly by Robinhood.

The Robinhood DEX volume was also heavily concentrated. Uniswap’s v4 and v3 deployments accounted for roughly $432 million and $357 million, respectively, on the record day.

Memecoin Trading is Doing Much of the Heavy Lifting

GMGN, Pons and Uniswap together generated about 88% of Robinhood Chain’s application revenue. GMGN and Pons are closely tied to memecoin trading and token launches, and Pons reportedly facilitated around 22,600 token launches in a single day.

This matters because Robinhood’s broader blockchain pitch has centered on tokenized stocks and real-world assets. The company describes Robinhood Chain as a network built for tokenized RWAs, including Stock Tokens tied to companies such as Nvidia and Apple.

And there is evidence that this side of the network is growing. RWA-related trading volume recently reached about $390 million, including a record $217 million from memecoin-stock pairs and $127 million from tokenized stocks.

The numbers suggest two very different forces are developing on the same chain. Memecoins are generating the frenetic trading activity and fees, while tokenized stocks are starting to build a more conventional financial use case.

For now, the Robinhood ethereum comparison makes for a striking headline. The bigger story may be whether Robinhood Chain can turn this burst of speculative activity into sustained demand for tokenized assets.
